Margret Bell, Secretary of the Camden Falcons Soccer Club was presented with a State Award in recognition for her outstanding service to Football.

Margret was the MDSFA 's nominee for this award in 2008. Margret thoroughly deserved the award, but she didn't even know she was to receive this prestigious award until her name was read out on the night.

The State Award recognises the dedication that volunteers have given to the sport over period of time. There were 17 State Awards presented. Together, the 2008 group of volunteers have given over 400 years of voluntary service to Football.
